The night in Ukraine has been particularly turbulent in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv and Luhansk regions, where Russian troops have bombed towns and villages, according to regional heads of state.

In the Kiev region, several alarms were sounded at night and fighting took place in settlements along the Zhytomyr highway. The Ukrainian armed forces managed to improve their positions in Irpina and the village of Moschun. Russian troops are strengthening their positions and trying to regroup. At night, the village of Jasnogorodka was shot dead with jet multi-barrel minesweepers. Information on victims is being clarified.
In the Chernihiv region, two bombings took place at night in the Chernihiv city, which was bombed. A bridge across the river was also bombed, evacuating people and delivering humanitarian aid. Information on other damage and deaths is still being clarified.
In the Sumy area, the night was relatively peaceful, apart from the inhabitants of Trostyanets. Several fires broke out there as a result of the war.
The night in the Dnipropetrovsk region was also relatively quiet. The railway station in Pavlohrad was destroyed by missiles yesterday. One resident was killed.
In Kharkiv, Russian troops again attacked residential areas and the city’s historic center more actively at night. Ukrainian armed forces repulsed a Russian attempt to attack with K-52 combat helicopters. In the Kharkiv region, the enemy is trying to occupy Izjuma. The Ukrainian army is not losing its position and repelling attacks. The Russians also shot Lozov at night, injuring at least eight people and damaging or destroying 20 homes.
All the cities of Kiev formerly controlled by the Luhansk region are still controlled by the Ukrainian army, but but the shootings continue almost continuously. A company and an educational institution caught fire in Rubižná as a result of the war, but waste is burned at the Lisičansk refinery. Three people, including two children, have died in Rubižne as a result of the shooting in residential areas.
In the Donetsk region, hostilities near Avdijivka and Marjinka intensified at night. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are in a defensive position.
Avdijivka fired all night on a line around the city. One part of the city is left without electricity. There is currently no victim information. Volnovak is occupied. Mariupol is under siege. Air strikes and rocket artillery fire are compounded by attacks from the sea and ships. The city still has civilians. Leaving the city by private transport is very dangerous due to the constant bombing.
There were shootings in Mykolaiv at night, and an air raid alarm was heard. Damage information is being updated. In the morning the situation was stable.
The situation in Kherson at night has hardly changed. There are still problems in providing the population with food, medicine and petrol.
