Most cases of coronavirus were found in Kiev, Zhytomyr and Lviv regions.
In Ukraine, on the first day of 2022, 1,863 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection were detected. This is almost three times less indicator for Friday, informs Ministry of Health on Sunday, January 2.
Among the newly ill children – 108, health workers – 12. During the day, not a single person was hospitalized. At the same time, deaths – 98, and recovered – 2,259 people.
Most cases were detected in Kiev (277), Zhytomyr region (127) and Lviv region (115).
For the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 3,674,538 people fell ill, recovered – 3,477,188, deaths – 96,187.
