Today, Sunday, the Alexandria Directorate of Health Affairs announced the launch of the revitalization campaign for family planning and reproductive health in Alexandria, which is expected to be implemented in two phases, between December 4 and 22.
The first phase of the campaign will start from December 4th to 8th, while the second phase will resume from the 18th to the 22nd of the same month, under the slogan “Your Right to Organize” to provide free family planning and reproductive health services in all centers of the governorate through hospitals, health centers and mobile clinics, which is part of the periodic campaigns implemented by the Ministry to control population growth rates as part of the concern for health and family development.
The Family Planning Stimulus Campaign activities include providing all family planning services free of charge, as well as organizing awareness-raising seminars for women on the sidelines of the campaign on family planning methods and reproductive health, as well as organizing of exhibitions of women’s club products in health units as part of the campaign activities, including the application of all preventive and precautionary measures, in order to preserve the health and safety of the campaign managers and those who attend it for benefit from its services.
The devices of the Ministry of Health of Alexandria provide a distinguished group of safe and effective family planning methods free of charge to increase the utilization rates of family planning methods, through trained teams at the signing of medical examinations, while family planning methods are dispensed through units, city centres, public and central hospitals, maternal and child care centres, and through mobile clinics to provide care in remote areas.
