The Tver administration refused to allow the Zveri group to hold a concert. It was supposed to take place on November 13 at the Yubileiny sports complex. On the official page of the group reportedthat the concert was canceled due to the “ambiguous position of the artist,” as follows from the document attached to the letter.
The Tver authorities named another reason. The thing is that any concerts are generally prohibited at Yubileiny, the committee told the publication “Rise”. At the same time, they admitted that earlier concerts did take place at the sports complex, but now everything is according to the regulations. That is, it is possible to hold only “show programs, cultural events such as holidays with a sports focus.” However, on the official website of Yubileiny, in the Events section, it is indicated that on November 1, the music festival “Diskach 90s fest” will be held there.

— Nowadays, in general, there is some kind of slight paranoia reigning in the organization of concerts, maybe not even very light, because no one knows exactly what is allowed, what is not allowed, who is allowed, who is not allowed. Therefore, all promoters are in some kind of semi-borderline state. From time to time, lists appear, coming from nowhere, listing groups that are supposedly prohibited from performing. The most recent of them included the group “Beasts”. This is some kind of amateur activity of people who have fun in this way. Locally, sometimes this amateur activity is taken very seriously, and it is quite possible that the Tver administration, seeing the name of the group “Beasts” in this latest amusing list, decided to play it safe just in case. Maybe something didn’t work out between the promoters and the musicians, maybe between the venue and the musicians, but it’s not in the interests of each of them to cancel a fairly large concert, because it’s quite expensive. All these contradictions can be resolved, I think that this is some kind of voluntaristic decision that came to people’s minds out of a desire to play it safe.

The Zveri group apologized for the unexpected cancellation of the concert and promised to refund everyone the full cost of the tickets. According to the musicians, they were unable to influence the decision of the Tver authorities.
