There have been several changes in the cabin. Eight players left the team. Among them is the long-term goalkeeper unit Igor Šemrinec, the captain of the Achraf El Mahdioui team, and the best scorer of the past season of AS Trenčín Hamza Čatakovič. Five new faces have joined the team. According to the name, Erik Jendrišek was the most interesting among them.

“I feel very good about the staff. It has a competitive environment. It is full of players from its own academy and foreign players. I believe that we will be able to create an interesting team that fights for the ranks guaranteeing European competitions, “ said Rybníček.

Peter Hlinka became the coach of the team at the beginning of the preparation period. The 42-year-old native of Prešov spent a substantial part of his career in Austria. He is a former representative of Slovakia and on Friday he will have his premiere on the bench in the highest Slovak competition. “I am very pleased that there has been a collaboration between me and the club. I like the idea of ​​doing football a little differently, which was a decisive factor in accepting the offer. We want to play offensive and dominant football with positive energy. It will not be about mistakes, but about what we will do after them. “ Hlinka said.

The team played five matches during the preparation period. She won only once, when she defeated Karviná right at the beginning. Between the opponents, the teams from the Czech highest competition played directly. “In the Czech Republic, we have reached a stage where the team was feeling mentally and physically tired. The last match against Púchov showed good things. Our goal is to be as dominant as possible. We have a young team that needs time.” stressed.

The management of the club introduced a new general sponsor, which became Tipsport for a period of two years. She will also dominate the jerseys for the 2021/2022 season.
