In Toulon, a modern health establishment to relieve the hospital (…) – Petites Affiches des Alpes-Maritimes

The place was born from the merger and the geographical transfer of two existing CLINEA clinics, namely the Helio Marin Institute of the Côte d’Azur (IHMCA) and the Saint-Jean Diet Center, which were until then located respectively in Hyères and in Carqueiranne. It opened on May 25, 2021.

The authorization for transfer and regrouping on a single structure within a new building was issued by the Regional Health Agency (ARS), taking into account the health needs of the population of the Var.

The clinic has 200 hospital beds, of which 160 are intended for patients who have come for rehabilitation and locomotor care and 40 are dedicated to nutrition, and 28 day hospital places. The establishment is specialized in welcoming and caring for patients with disorders of the musculoskeletal and neurological system, the digestive, metabolic and endocrine system, in full and day hospitalization.

MODERN TECHNICAL PLATFORM

The entire first floor is dedicated to treatment areas and to the rehabilitation and rehabilitation technical platform with 4 physiotherapy rooms, balneotherapy, 2 physical and adapted activity rooms, outdoor walking and health course, fitness rooms. occupational therapy, psychomotricity, and therapeutic education, speech therapists, psychologists and neuropsychologist offices, and an apparatus room.

The technical platform benefits from innovative equipment in terms of assessment and rehabilitation, such as a dynamic posturography platform coupled with virtual reality.

The Monts Toulonnais Medical and Rehabilitation Center has multidisciplinary teams necessary for quality care. Thus, the existing bridges between the two activities of this establishment are simplified and amplified.

In addition, the medical teams are developing an important activity in liaison with the health actors of their environment, in particular with the Sainte-Musse hospital, the Sainte-Anne hospital and all the clinics and hospitals in the area.

Finally, the establishment offers hotel comfort for patients. The team is coordinated by a housekeeper, ensuring the comfort of the patients. In fact, on each floor, patients have a lounge where they can enjoy a moment of relaxation or receive relatives.
