The latest information regarding the Kovid-19 outbreak, which has been going on for 3 months in the country, was announced with a written statement from the Civil Defense institution.
According to the statement, the number of active cases in the country fell to 62 thousand 752, a decrease of 2 thousand 377. To date, the number of Kovid-19 contaminants has been 227,364.
The number of those who recovered increased by 2 thousand 881 today to 132 thousand 282.
The number of people who died from Kovid-19 increased by 161 in the last 24 hours, reaching 32 thousand 330.
The decline in the number of those treated in intensive care continued today. The number, which was 716 yesterday, dropped to 676 today.
To date, 3 million 171 thousand 719 tests have been carried out across the country.
The number of people who died in the last 24 hours in the Lombardy region, where the most lives were lost due to the epidemic, was 65.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, in his statement out of the Senate, warned that it is not the right time for young people to gather and party, while warning that this will escalate the spread curve of the virus.
Conte noted that as the outbreak was taken under control, as of May 18, they removed the permit application required to go out onto the streets, but this did not mean that all measures were abolished.
