Al-Marsad Newspaper: Prince Sultan University rector Dr Ahmed Al-Yamani explained that moving the study to the three-semester system instead of the two-semester system requires a full setup in the admissions system, faculty and students currently studying at the university.
Al-Yamani said, during his speech on the “Al-Rassed” program, broadcast on the Al-Ekhbariya channel, that when he studied the three-semester system in America and then he studied the two-semester system and found a difference among them, adding that the Thara Center for Studies conducted a study on American universities and found that over 95% of American universities adopt a two-semester system and the number is shrinking.
He continued his speech, underlining that after the study it was decided to keep the situation as it is after the decision of the ministry, which granted the absolute option to private universities.
