Al-Marsad newspaper: Citizen Muhammad Al-Qasim narrated the story of his suffering from multiple sclerosis (MS), and how he overcame it and succeeded in his work until he owned a factory.
Al-Qasim said: In 2011, I suddenly woke up and found difficulty and retention in urinating, and a little at a lower level in my studies and physically. I went to more than one hospital and more than one doctor, all of whom did not know what was wrong with me, and one of them said that you have an obsession and are mentally ill.
He continued: My family took me to the neurologist, and I taught him my story. He became sad and upset, asked me for x-rays and tests, and told me that I had multiple sclerosis. He added: Something new and a new injury. I sat with myself and saw the things that I had lost and said I must achieve. I graduated from university in 2014 and the job market was difficult at the beginning.
He continued: My father told me, “Come, let us try working in building materials until I find the appropriate job,” and I entered this field, specifically in marble. Before Corona, I decided to open a commercial registry and rented a store, and when the pandemic came, thank God, I owned the factory that I dreamed of.
Al-Qassim explained the factors that helped him overcome the disease, saying: Sclerosis was summarized in four points: healthy nutrition with adherence to treatment, vitamin D, then exercise and physical therapy, then work.
