In the United States, rapper Laurence Franks, better known as Huey, was shot dead. It is reported by FOX 2.
It is clarified that the 31-year-old author of the hit Pop, Lock and Drop It was taken to a St. Louis hospital with a gunshot wound. Doctors could not save him, soon after arriving at the clinic, the artist died.
According to the police, as a result of the shootout, a 21-year-old man was also injured. He is currently in the Ferguson City Hospital. He is expected to survive.
Investigators said that in all, up to ten people were present during the shootout. Police haven’t arrested anyone yet.
Huey was born on January 1, 1989. In 2006, he released his debut single, Pop, Lock and Drop It, which became one of the most significant tracks of his career. In 2007, his first album, Notebook Paper, was released. The artist collaborated with rappers such as T-Pain, Bow Wow, Yo Gotti, Lil ‘Wayne and Trey Songz.
