As Fox 5 Atlanta recalls, Kyle Clinkscales disappeared on the night of January 27, 1976 while driving back to his university in Alabama after traveling to LaGrange, Georgia.
On December 7, 2021, a witness contacted authorities in Chambers County, Alabama to report the discovery of a submerged car wreck in a stream. Kyle Clinkscales’ vehicle was then quickly identified.
Did the young man have an accident? Or was he killed? All leads are still being investigated, the county sheriff’s office said.
