—Is there much left of the Juan Amodeo that started in bars and tried to get there through networks?
—I think everything remains, especially the Juan who started in bars. Let’s say he was the most rogue Juan, who is now on stage. It is true that I have learned a lot thanks to studies, lessons and research. Now you have other tools, but in the end they are still the same as when I started. I see my monologue from when I started and, of course, they terrify me; but, in the end, I am still myself, I still have my essence, which I think is important.
Did you always know that humor was your thing?
-The truth is that I have always had clear ideas, what happens is that I studied Social Assistance because, if not, my mother would kill me. So, I said, “I study this career, but what I really want is to devote myself to humor.” I’ve always liked the stage and knew I wanted to do something related to it. When I grew up I realized that what I really wanted was comedy.
