Spring is here and blood drives are still necessary during this period to ensure the reserves of blood products, which is why the Amicale pour le donation de sang volunteer de Castres is soliciting donors, regulars or novices. According to the association chaired by Ginette Gastaldi, “Their mobilization is essential”.
“Barrier measures will be applied including the wearing of a mask which is compulsory for all, distancing,… Be in good health, be between 18 and 70 years old, weigh more than 50 kilos and not have been transfused. Remember to take your ID and pen. Do not come on an empty stomach and drink well before and after the donation ” says Ginette Gastaldi.
The Collection will take place at the Gérard Philipe room from Monday April 12 to Friday April 16 from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm continuous day.
The generosity of blood donors in Castres must not weaken to maintain the necessary stocks, for the needs of health professionals and patients.
“New donors, regulars, come in large numbers, we will have an additional doctor and nurse, we are counting on your generosity and thank you to all the donors, media and volunteers”, concludes Ginette Gastaldi.
