The second training took place at a calm pace. The riders rode on medium and hard tires. Then they switched to soft to try out the skill simulations.
Max Verstappen took the lead, but only just ahead of Charles Leclerc. Carlos Sainz later came in third, pushing George Russell to fourth. Hamilton was ninth among the Haas riders.
The fastest time of the afternoon was 1: 31.936, which is only a second slower than we saw last year in the second practice.
