Representatives of the Russian Transneft claim that they “saw a drone” and allegedly “dropped an explosive device” from it.
Employees of the Russian Transneft allegedly discovered “explosive devices” at the Novozybkov oil pumping station (PS) of the Druzhba pipeline in the Bryansk region. However, they assured that “the station was not damaged.” This was stated by the official representative of the company Igor Demin in a comment to the TASS propaganda news agency on Wednesday, March 15.
“Indeed, explosive devices were found on the territory of the Novozybkov oil pumping station last night and this morning (March 14 and 15, respectively – ed.) in destroyed plastic cases of non-industrial production with a striking warhead in the form of steel balls,” he said.
According to him, the destruction of the buildings “occurred after hitting the ground when falling from drones.”
A spokesman for the company claims that on Wednesday at noon, “another explosive device, probably similar to the previous two, was seen dropped from the UAV.”
Demin also tried to assure in his statement that “during the whole of 2023, the Novozybkov PS does not pump oil.” However, he voiced the version that the explosives allegedly could have been dropped not in order to damage the oil pipeline, but in order to supposedly “kill” the working personnel of the now idle oil pumping station.
“Investigations are underway, NPS Novozybkov was not injured,” Demin assured.
Recall that the Russian Federation announced a strike on the Druzhba oil pipeline in the Bryansk region from the Tochka-U system.
