Soon about 50 people were evacuated from a residential building in Tyumen, on the first floor of which there is a bank branch.

Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation stated that two bank employees were held hostage in an office in Tyumen, and the attacker demanded money and claimed that he had a “dangerous object” in his bag.

Law enforcement officers managed to detain the invader, writes Interfax.

“According to preliminary data, as a result of negotiations, it was possible to persuade the offender to release all the hostages and surrender,” the agency’s source said.

Nobody was hurt as a result of the incident.
