The Anti-Disinformation Center of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has confirmed that it is planned to actively use the hryvnia instead of rubles in the “republics” of Russia’s Donbass.
According to the center, the plans to return to the national currency of Ukraine are not another manipulation of Russia and the “republics”, but the consequences of the Russian economic catastrophe caused by the sanctions imposed due to the war.
According to the plan, it was planned to bring about 1.5 billion rubles into the “republics” in 7-10 days, but Russia does not even have the money to pay the salaries of its soldiers.
After consultations with the leadership of the “republics” with the Russian Ministry of Finance, it was decided to use the hryvnia again throughout the territory of the “republics” of Donbass.
The center also reports that the population in the territories occupied by Russian forces is categorically abandoning the rubles.
