His placement was announced by Nikos Hardalias himself during the recent meeting of the Regional Council in Glyfada, underlining that it is his personal choice, which signals the special importance given by the regional authority to the promotion of tourism as a development tool for Attica .
“We welcome a successful technocrat in the field of tourism, who will strengthen the efforts of our administration in this direction” underlined the Regional Governor, who thanked the outgoing president Nikos Papageorgiou for his many years of contribution to the organization.
As Nikos Hardalias stated, tourism will be, together with culture, one of the most basic objects with which the New Metropolitan Attica will now deal, alongside the provision of assistance to the Municipalities for the submission of mature studies for NSPA projects.
He even revealed that the new guidelines for the organization’s future will be reflected in the new organizational chart that will be submitted next Thursday, while two positions on the Board of Directors will be filled by persons related to culture.
