The executive bodies of the Governorate of Qalyubia have organized an initiative to raise awareness on reproductive health and family planning through the presidential initiative “You have the right to organize yourself”.
This was in the presence of Dr. Narmin Adly, Deputy Dean of Benha University’s Faculty of Medicine for Community Services and Environmental Development, and the organizer of the meeting of the Community Participation Committee, and Reda Abdel Rahim, Director of the Population Unit and the Central Statistics Department in the Governorate, Naglaa Al-Farmawy, director of the Governorate’s Unit for Human Rights and Youth Initiatives, and a large number of community service doctors in medicine. the continuous integration and cooperation between the governorate, Benha City Council and Benha University in the field of local development for society and the environment.
The conference addressed awareness of the concept of family planning and reproductive health through the presidential initiative (You have the right to organize), where the importance of family planning and the importance of a premarital medical examination to ensure safety was discussed. and the health of future spouses.
Family planning methods, their types and how to use them were also reviewed. The symposium also addressed the human right to belong to a healthy family and enjoy all its human rights through family planning.
It should be noted that the improvement of demographic characteristics and indicators and the advancement of family planning phases in Egypt have become an urgent need to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development in accordance with Egypt’s 2030 Vision and for every citizen of this country can feel the fruits of development, as the population increases every year, devours all development efforts and the return of the great achievements that is being realized in the beloved land of Egypt.
