In the Obereña League, Olimpia/San Antonio went to the semis

In the semifinals, a match and rematch, Olimpia/San Antonio will face Racing de Villa Svea.

The logic happened, Olimpia/San Antonio went to the semifinals. El Rojo del Tiro Federal qualified for the next round of the Clausura 2024 tournament of the Obereña Regional Soccer League, after beating Atlético Iguazú 1-0, with a goal from Rodrigo Horodwski.

The logic was given, since Oscar Aguayo’s team came as a favoritehaving qualified for the quarterfinals as the best in the tournament, undefeated and with a perfect score. While Leandro N. Alem’s team classified “by desk” after equaling River de Santa Rita in everything.

A first half that tipped the balance for the local team, which arrived clearly and had three clear scoring chances, but the visiting goalkeeper, Dylan Vicca, was responsible for the score remaining at zero until the end of that first stage. The visit could never come with clarity, betting on shots behind the back of the last line that did not progress.

The second half was more intense, knowing that parity led to a finish from twelve steps. And that was when the goal came, from a very good play that Rodrigo Horodeski finished off, after receiving, dribbling to his mark, and defining to place.

After the goal the visitors woke up, but they never had clarity and that allowed the Obereño team to win.

In the semifinals, a match and revenge, Olimpia/San Antonio will face Racing de Villa Svea, who beat Atlético Oberá 2 to 1.

In the other key, Ex Alumnos 185 decisively defeated Atlético Campo Viera 4 to 0, and will face Independiente de Campo Viera, who defeated AEMO 3 to 1 as a visitor.
