The second season of ‘Mujeres al poder’, which Ana Rosa Quintana presented at its premiere on Telecinco, returns to television by the hand of Carme Chaparro, that, in each installment, she is involved in knowing in depth the protagonists, committed and fighters, accompanying them in their day to day, in their work and in their family and personal environments.

She changes the presenter and the channel – starting on Thursday the 11th in Cuatro, at 10:45 pm – but she maintains the essence, thanks, in part, to the advice between colleagues. «Ana has always told me: ‘I know how you are, be natural, you can see on television when you pretend’. When they gave me the project, she told me that she was angry, but she couldn’t travel. She is a great teacher and being able to take the witness from Ana Rosa is a gift. He told me: ‘Don’t pretend, that television takes everything,’ “said Carme Chaparro in the presentation of ‘Mujeres al poder’, which represents her return to street stories after 24 years on the sets, but, above all, meet again with people. “I don’t pretend, in the news I used to dig my nails to keep from crying”, has recognized the Salamanca presenter.

‘Mujeres al poder’, in the words of Manuel Villanueva, Mediaset’s general director of content, is’ a program that photographs the courage, tenacity, perseverance of those women that not only achieve success in large companies as executives, but also aims to teach us those women who have also achieved in their world, no matter how small, to change directions and establish routes.

Brave, for not doubting when facing great challenges in society; fighters and persevering, for not throwing in the towel in the most difficult moments; and exemplary, for having reached their goals and fulfilled their dreams. This is how the 26 protagonists of the new season of ‘Mujeres al poder’ are, a documentary on female empowerment and leadership produced by Unicorn Content that Cuatro will premiere next Thursday, March 11 (10:45 p.m.) with Chaparro as the host.

«This program is emotion. Many times we think that we can find the emotion on television in a series but the emotion is in people and in life and we have managed to tell it by getting into the lives of those people. It is not a program for women, it is inspiring, it teaches you, it makes you laugh, cry. I have tried to overcome my own fears to keep up with these women. What you see is the truth of the emotion of the struggle of 26 people so different that everyone will be able to find in each program that detail that can make their life better, “claimed Chaparro.

In ‘Mujeres al poder’, the journalist travels to the cities where the protagonists of each edition live to tell their past and present and show the path they have traveled to make their dreams come true, in a society that still struggles for equal opportunities.

«After so many years writing about women in different media, and having published the essay ‘Calladita, you are prettier’, being at the forefront of this program is a wonderful way to put a voice on television in a society that is evolving so much in the relationship between genders ”, explains the presenter.
