Jaunfolk band “Jauno Jāņu Orchestra” publishes a new song “Where you were, beer” and invites you to meet the band at several concerts during the summer and summer.
The lyrics of the song “Where You Were, Beer” have been selected and arranged by Juris Kaukulis, the music is also his handiwork, but it has been arranged by the “New Midsummer Orchestra” together. Sound recording director and producer – Aldis Zaļūksnis.
“The story and the reason for making the song are quite simple. Celebrating the occasion, the band realized that they were missing their own tidy table and joy songs to sing together. The joy of being together, celebrating and also happily forgetting meets in the song, glorifying the well-known source of joy for Latvians – beer. We are going to sing it with you very soon, meeting at concerts, ”says Juris Kaukulis, the author of the music, JJO’s voice, about the new song.
As the Midsummer Festival approaches, the “New Midsummer Orchestra” is logically becoming more and more popular in concerts. On June 18, the band plans to perform at the “Stirnu buka” event in Gaiziņa, then on June 20 it is planned to perform in Rīga, VEF quarter, but June 23 in JJO calendars is marked with two concerts – Dikļi ”.
