The situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border is now controlled, but in the winter the Russian Federation plans to increase the number of their military there.
Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar stated this on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel.
According to her, the Russian Federation is constantly on an aggressive position. Now about 90 thousand troops are stationed around the border with Ukraine and in the occupied territories, this figure is constantly changing.
“The movement that is happening now is not the first time, it is typical of the war that is happening now, because this movement is happening constantly. As of now, the information that we are guided by is intelligence information. I’ll say this news now, but we should expect more news in December and January than nowwhat we are discussing. The official added that domestic intelligence quickly transmits data on the situation at the border.
“As of now, this is not a situation when you have to sound the alarm and say that the situation is catastrophic. But at any moment, say tomorrow, this risk exists. The risk of escalation exists constantly, because we are in a state of war, it is you have to be aware, “she says.
“Ukrainians should not worry, the situation is under control, decisions will be made on time,” the deputy minister reassured.

After that, Politico published fresh satellite photographs confirming reports that Russia concentrates troops again and military equipment on the border with Ukraine. The article of the publication notes that the footage was taken in the area of the Russian city of Yelnya, Smolensk region, not far from the border with Belarus. The photo shows a cluster of armored units, tanks and self-propelled artillery along with the military. And not far from the northern border of Ukraine, the equipment of the 4th Panzer Division of Russia was moved – T-80U tanks and self-propelled guns. In this area, around Bryansk and Kursk, elements of the 1st Guards Tank Army were seen.
