At the beginning of Buen Fin 2024 and with consumers already making purchases, two banks presented failures in their system, according to reports on social networks.
According to the Downdetector website, several Santander account holders have reported problems with card payments, logging in on their phone and availability in branches.
Some more reported that in some bank branches, institution personnel told them that there were “problems with the system” in various parts of the country.
However, so far the banking institution has not reported any problems.

Problems in BBVA Mobile Banking?
On the other hand, BBVA bank users also reported problems with Mobile Banking, as well as logging in and transferring funds.
Although users have reported these failures, the banking institution has not reported any problems with its services either.
Please note that Downdetector only reports an issue when the number of issue reports is significantly higher than the typical volume.
This Friday, Buen Fin began in Mexico, a four-day period in which businesses offer discounts and offers on products and services, so thousands of consumers make purchases online and in person. Around 190 thousand businesses participate in this edition.
