/ world today news/ Boiler tightens for casting, bleaching and shock weight loss. A Turkish film company will hire 200 extras for the filming of the love drama “Two Hearts in One”. This was announced by the secretary of the community center, Maria Raycheva, reports “Trud”.
The photos will be taken near the village of Zheravna. And the extras will receive 30 BGN per day. The artistic fever has swayed both young and old, both employed and unemployed. There is no educational qualification or age requirement. All kinds of people will be hired – from babies to old people.
Kotel does not remember such cinematic euphoria. But the uplifted mood is soured by the peculiarities of the film’s plot. The action takes place during World War II in a Kazakh village. “And this is a big problem, because the company’s requirement is that part of the extras be young blond men. They will play Russian and German officers, real Aryans,” Maria Raicheva explained. “Where are we going to find fair-haired youths!? Well, there have never been any here and there never will be any. We have a lot of Roma. Besides, all the rest of us are dark-skinned,” commented the Kotel.
In the Roma quarter, they have already started buying bleaching preparations and skin whitening creams. But the blonde drama is not the only one. Another condition of the casting is that the extras must be “thin women and thin men with mustaches and beards”. These will be the extras who will represent the local population who suffered from the war. “How can people lose weight in a day? Most middle-aged women are chubby,” commented other residents of Kotel. One of the local organizers even shared that they allowed her to add her own people to the list of extras. But she wasn’t going to benefit because all her friends were chubby.
For now, the success of the young men and women from the National School of Folk Arts is most certain if they are allowed to participate. And they weren’t Russian, but they were all slim. The camera crew of the Turkish love tape has been staying in Zheravna for about twenty days, Mayor Ivan Dimitrov announced. The team presented the municipality with an expensive and much needed tool – a brush cutter. Now in Zheravna they are hoping that the Turks will also donate a small snow plow.
There was also a fever for extras years ago when the American military began conducting training at the Novo Selo training ground. Then in another Kotlen village – Mokren, there was also a casting. Roma worked all summer as live terrorist dummies in the training.
