In the Kherson region, the car of the head of the Novotroitskoe district police department was blown up

An attempt was made on the life of the head of the Novotroitskoye district police department in the Kherson region; an explosive device went off under the bottom of his car. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

“The investigation indicated that an explosive device went off today at about 10:40 a.m., under the bottom of a car on the site near the Troya store in the urban settlement of Novotroitskoye. As a result of the explosion, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Novotroitskoye” of the main directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kherson region was injured by a mine explosion. The victim was taken to a medical facility with injuries of varying severity. He’s getting the help he needs.” – the message says.

Criminal proceedings were initiated for an offense under Part 3 of Art. 30, pp. “b, e” part 2 Art. 105 (attempted murder).

“The investigation has enough evidence to believe that the explosive device, planted by unknown people, went off with the aim of affecting the life of a law enforcement officer. – marked in the section.

Investigators of the investigative department investigated the scene of the incident, questioned witnesses and eyewitnesses, seized items of interest to the investigation, and will be assigned the necessary tests.

A set of necessary investigative tasks and executive investigative measures have been organized that aim to establish the circumstances of the crime committed, as well as the people involved.

The criminal investigation is ongoing.
