The man fired a shot from an IZH-27 smooth-bore hunting rifle and accidentally hit a 39-year-old friend.
In the Kharkov region, on the territory of the Krasnokutsk forestry, a man died during a hunt. About it informs National Police on Tuesday, December 28.
“It was established that the hunt took place in a tract on the territory of Krasnokutskoye forestry in the company of men. The 40-year-old hunter fired a shot from his own smooth-bore hunting rifle IZH-27 and accidentally hit a 39-year-old friend,” the message says.
Investigators and criminologists worked on the spot. Information about the incident was included in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under the article on negligent murder (part 1 of article 119 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The 40-year-old hunter was announced on suspicion of committing a crime. The sanction of the article provides for up to 5 years in prison.
Let us remind you that at the beginning of December a man was killed on a hunt near Nikolaev… Later, the media reported that the former deputy regional military commissar of the Nikolaev region, Alexander Zholud, was killed.
And in the Chernihiv region a policeman was shot while hunting… The hunter fired a shot from the gun towards the animal and accidentally hit the 37-year-old cop.
