Financial aid has been numerous: the Nantes city (300,000 euros), the metropolis (372,000 euros), Department (300,000 euros), the Region (1 million) or five million European funds. The vast majority of funds were provided by CDC Habitat, owner of the operation (14 million).
A place of solidarity and integration
The 5Ponts project was born from the desire of the Les Eaux Vies association to bring together its activities, previously dispersed over five sites, in one single place, for the benefit of people in very precarious situations.
The project was designed according to the needs and expectations of the people received, and with them.
The idea was therefore to offer services adapted to their emergency needs (reception, accommodation, catering) on one site, while supporting them towards integration.
To do this, we find in particular a reception center open 24 hours a day. The latter will include a daytime reception (80 places), a night stopover (30 places), 40 accommodation and stabilization studios, as well as a social restaurant and a solidarity café.
A new place of activities
Next August, the solidarity farm will open its doors. It will be deployed in two complementary spaces.
