On Monday, a warmer mass of air will also enter the territory of the country, so the air temperature in the light hours of the day in many weeks will be in the range of + 20… + 25 degrees in many places.
A variable amount of clouds is expected on Friday, in some areas it will rain, in some places a thunderstorm is possible. During the day, a large area of precipitation will approach Latvia from the west, with most of the country’s territory carrying rain, which will stop in some places only on Saturday, but in the coastal areas a gusty southwest wind will blow in some places, reaching 15-16 m / s.
During the day the air temperature will stay within + 17… + 20, but at night on Monday within + 12… + 16.
Short-term rain is also expected in many places on Saturday, in some places it will rain heavily during thunderstorms, however, as the rain subsides, the clouds will dissipate, and in the evening the sky will be clear in many places. The air temperature during the day will be a degree higher than on Friday, but at night on Sunday the air will cool to + 9… + 14.
On Sunday, the weather in Latvia will be determined by an anticyclone, so precipitation is not forecasted, and although the amount of clouds will be variable, the sun will warm up to + 19… + 23.
At the beginning of the working week, due to the cyclone in the south, warmer air will flow into Latvia, bringing with it precipitation, so thunderstorms and prolonged rain are expected in many places both on Monday and Tuesday. A slow to moderate west wind will blow, and during daylight hours the air temperature will reach + 19… + 25 in many places, but at night from Monday to Tuesday the thermometer bar will not fall below the +15 mark.
The middle of the working week is also expected to be warm. Despite the fact that the sky is cloudy, on Wednesday the rain is not forecast until late in the evening, when the next precipitation zone will approach from the west, which will cross the territory of Latvia on Thursday.
On both Wednesday and Thursday, the air temperature will mostly be in the range of + 20… + 25 degrees.
