The foundations for the victory were laid by the Serbs after the break, playing in a very good third quarter. The guests finished the quarter with a 16: 5 spurt and met the decisive leg with a solid 15-point advantage.
In the fourth quarter, the Greeks managed to melt the deficit to eight, but the Acropolis tournament cup was raised again by the Serbian national team.
In 2019, it was the Serbs who won the tournament, and last summer the traditional competition in Athens did not take place due to a global pandemic.
The Lithuanian national team also won this friendly tournament in 2004.
