The Turkish series “Empire Kesem” has become a real hit far beyond the borders of the homeland. However, not everything shown in the picture corresponds to historical reality. The creators of the series missed one amusing moment, but, most likely, they did it deliberately.
The plot takes place during the reign of Sultan Ibrahim I. Only slender girls appear on the screen, but in reality this could not be. Under Ibrahim I, only fat women were valued. Only the owner of impressive forms could get into the harem, because the preferred weight of the concubine was 150 kilograms. And that was the minimum! The girls were constantly fattened and forbidden to move much.
To become a favorite, it was necessary to eat off in full. So, Shaker Para was considered the favorite of the Sultan, whose weight reached as much as 230 kilograms. Ibrahim I, fascinated by her immense charms, called her Sugar.
Contemporaries consider the preferences of the Turkish ruler perverted. And the authors of the Kesem Empire generally kept silent about this fact so as not to shock impressionable viewers.
