KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The corona virus pandemic (Covid-19) has delayed a number of infrastructure projects in the country. Construction issuers with the status of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) have difficulty reaching new contract targets. Thus, revenue and net profit have the potential to come under pressure.
To maintain performance, publicly-listed construction companies are trying to target projects abroad. Director of HCM and System Development PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) Hadjar Seti Adji said, WSKT will hold business expansion into overseas infrastructure projects, especially in Southeast Asia, South Asia and Africa.
