The Santa Cruz population will have nine vaccination points against Covid-19 enabled this Sunday, places that are distributed in the four health networks and will serve at various times from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The four vaccination points of the North network will serve for 12 continuous hours, these are: the Lazareto Health Center, San Antonio Health Center, DM-5 Health Center and the October 10 Health Center, starting the day at 7:30.
In the South network, two mobile points will be enabled, one of them in the Olympic Village located between the fourth and fifth rings of Santos Dumont Avenue; and the second in the San Antonio market located at kilometer 6, from the double lane to La Guardia. Both locations will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Residents of the East network will be able to receive their dose at the Hernández Vera Hospital, located on the main avenue of Villa Primero de Mayo. Vaccination will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
In the Center network, vaccination will take place for 11 continuous hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. the health centers enabled for this day are: Elvira Wunderlinch and San Carlos.
The authorities call the attention of the population and insist that one of the ways to prevent the severity of the coronavirus is to receive the dose. Yesterday at the nine enabled points only 559 people were immunized, so they expect the number to increase today.
Currently 13 people are hospitalized fighting for their lives, 11 of them depend on an automatic respirator. The Departmental Health Service (Headquarters) warns that one should not expect to develop severe forms of the disease, much less become aware when a family member becomes ill, but rather prevent it beforehand by receiving the dose for free.
