In the aftermath of the Nicholas Sean case, Ayu Thalia is named a defamation suspect

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Actress Ayu Thalia | a suspect has been named for the alleged defamation case reported by Basuki’s son Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok, Nicholas Sean full moon.

This was confirmed by the Head of Criminal Investigation at the North Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Dwi Prasetyo Wibowo.

“Oh yes, that’s right (Ayu Thalia is a suspect),” said Dwi when contacted by the media, Wednesday (19/1/2022).

Previously, the report from Sean against Ayu Thalia was received by the police on August 31, 2021.

Dwi confirmed that his party had pocketed sufficient evidence to establish Ayu as a suspect.

“Yes (already two pieces of evidence),” said Dwi.

Previously, it was reported that the police had stopped the alleged abuse case that ensnared Nicholas Sean with the reporter Ayu Thalia.

The case has been stopped by the police since December 2021.

Ayu Thalia is now suspected of Article 310 and or 311 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) on Defamation.

The feud between Ayu Thalia and Nicholas Sean stems from Ayu’s report against Sean for alleged abuse in a car showroom.

Ayu was working as an SPG in a showroom and said Sean pushed her to the ground.

However, the police investigation into the case did not find any criminal evidence so the police decided to drop the case.

Nicholas Sean also reported back Ayu Thalia to the North Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday, August 31, 2021 on suspicion of defamation.
