The average yield of corn for grain in the Dobrich region is 259.7 kg/ha. It is highest in Tervel municipality, where farmers harvest up to 430 kg/ha, and lowest in General Toshevo and Balchik municipalities – 200 kg/ha.
The average crop yield in the municipality of Dobrichka is 340 kg/ha, in the municipality of Dobrich the farmers harvest 280 kg/ha. For farmers in Kavarna municipality, the average yield is 250 kg/ha, in Shabla – 235.4 kg/ha, and in Krushari they harvest 310.3 kg/ha. At the moment, 270,000 decares have been harvested, and the fields sown with corn in the Dobrich region are 816,350 decares, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.

In the case of oilseed sunflower, the average yield for the region is 180.6 kg/ha. The highest yield was obtained by farmers in Tervel municipality, where they harvested 200 kg/ha. The average crop yield in the municipalities of Dobrich, Balchik and General Toshevo is 180 kg/ha. In the municipality of Dobrichka it is 185 kg/ha. Farmers in the municipalities of Kavarna, Krushari and Shabla harvest 170 kg/hectare each. 796,550 decares were harvested out of 932,850 decares sown.
Last economic year, the sunflower harvest ended with an average yield for the district of 170.2 kg/ha.
