On Wednesday, August 16, nine candidates for the board of the Central Party expressed their support for Mihhail Kõlvart, under whose leadership it is possible to take the party to a new rise and stand more forcefully against the government led by the Reform Party and its harmful decisions for the people.
Candidates for the board of the Estonian Center Party support Mihhail Kõlvart Marika Tuus-Laul, Andrei Korobeinik, Lauri Laats, Anneli Ott, Vladimir Svet, Mihkel Undrest, Yana Toom, Jaan Toots and Vadim Belobrovtsev. The candidate for the chairman of the court of honor was nominated Kalle Klandorf.
The candidates noted that the party must elect a leader who can turn the Center Party into the most trusted and most supported political force by the people. “With Mihhail Kõlvart, we have the opportunity to turn the party on a new rise,” announced the nine candidates.
“As the head of the Union of Cities and Towns, Mihhail Kõlvart is familiar with the situation in rural areas. We support Mihhail Kõlvart’s activities in implementing the party’s regional policy and strengthening ties and support in the counties. The success of the Central Party is possible if and only if the party cooperates effectively both at the grassroots level, in local governments and at the national level,” the candidates stated in their statement of support. “We are applying for the support of Mihhail Kõlvart, because as the head of the largest municipality, he has proven himself to be a demanding and capable leader who acts purposefully and purposefully and to create a strong team that can be successfully managed as a leader.” The candidates believe that Mihhail Kõlvart is capable of motivating party members with his personal example , to revive cooperation in departments and restore the party’s place in big politics. It has already become apparent that those members of the party who had already retired from active politics and party life will join his campaign.
“The party has tended to remain in the shadows in these difficult times, but as Mihhail Kõlvart’s team, we contribute to the development of a strong organization and work to restore and increase the party’s support in the counties,” the candidates conclude their statement of support.
Today, a meeting was held in Fotografiska in support of Mihhail Kõvart, the candidate for the chairman of the Estonian Central Party, where he expressed his gratitude to the supporters and introduced the candidates for the party board.
