In Strasbourg, the maternity ward of the Sainte-Anne clinic is getting a makeover

The Sainte-Anne clinic (Saint-Vincent hospital group), an establishment of the Vincent de Paul Foundation located in Strasbourg, has renovated its maternity unit for 3 million euros (M €), the group announced in a press release dated March 11. .

In this level 2A maternity hospital, the work has enabled the creation of an additional cesarean section in the birth sector, the transformation of two standard rooms into kangaroo (allowing mother and child to be hospitalized together, under continuous surveillance), and the renovation of the complex on 1,100 m² (39 beds).

-A hotel character has been given to the corridors. “An intimate breastfeeding space has been created with pretty, comfortable and colorful armchairs and a cozy atmosphere,” adds the clinic. The bedrooms and bathrooms are completely renovated “in a modern and warm atmosphere”.-

The investment amounts to € 3 million, including € 2.4 million for development work, € 500,000 for structural modification and € 100,000 for equipment.
The prime contractor is BGL Architecture (in Wolfisheim). The work is being carried out by the architect Jean-Marie Lefèvre, in collaboration with the design office Evalit in Saverne, K Ingénierie in Mulhouse, and Marie-Delphine Dochain, interior designer in Strasbourg.

The first private establishment in Bas-Rhin in terms of number of births, the clinic delivered 2,065 deliveries (2,084 births) in 2020.
