About 10 thousand people took to the streets of the capital of Slovenia to protest against quarantine restrictions in the country. After the aggression by the protesters, the police responded with tear gas and water cannons.

It is noted that this is the second time in September when protests are held in Ljubljana, ending in riots. The protesters are demanding that the country abolish “vaccinated passes”.
After the protesters began throwing bottles and other objects at law enforcement officers, the police were forced to use tear gas and water cannons against them.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Slovenia, 291 thousand cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded, among them – 4.5 thousand were fatal.
