In the summer of mega yachts in the Aeolian Islands of Arab, American, Russian and German magnates could not miss «Mister Amazon» Jeff Bezos, with its gigantic 136-meter flying fox. To anchor he chose the VIP island: the small Panarea.
Obviously in the middle of the sea in complete tranquility because the pearl of the Aeolian Islands has resumed docking the vaporetti of tourists and excursionists. But it is not the only Sicilian stop for the largest yacht in the world. In fact, after the Eloogio archipelago, the boat was spotted off the coast of Palermo, in front of Balestrate.
Built in 2019, the Flying fox can accommodate 25 guests. The crew members are instead about fifty. The founder of Amazon – according to Forbes – is the richest man in the world with a fortune of 177 billion.
Flying Fox, 136 meters of luxury and high technology. It is the most expensive yacht ever: worth at least half a billion dollars and was built in the prestigious German shipyards Lürssen, in Bremen, flying the flag of the Cayman Islands. On board a beauty salon, spa, cinema, jet skis, two helipads with helicopter and a diving center. To rent the Flying Fox a week you start from 3 million euros.
