According to the head of the Institute of Health Information and Statistics, Ladislav Dušek, the development of the epidemic in the country shows signs of braking, especially in the last week. At the same time, the number of people requiring care in the hospital has decreased. According to the latest data from the ministry, 7,200 people are hospitalized, almost a week ago there were almost 600 more. Around 1,100 patients are still in a difficult condition.
In the last three days, the increase in the number of deaths with coronavirus also decreased slightly, but before that it was almost 200 people a day and the limit of 200 deaths per day was exceeded several times. The current record of 250 dead is from November 3. So far, 78 deaths have occurred on Saturday. However, this information changes and usually increases with subsequent updates.
