This morning, at the Picentini Resort a Giffoni Valle Piana the constituent assembly of. was celebrated “Federtifosi”the new national association that brings together the main associations and club coordination centers of many teams between Serie A and Serie B. Federtifosi was born last 2023 in an almost spontaneous way, to counteract and overcome an old and now worn-out way of understanding the fan organisations. The response of many organized Italian fans who joined the new category “union project” was immediate, thus allowing Federtifosi to be – already today – the main point of reference and the most accredited interlocutor both at the level of football clubs and and at the level of sporting and federal institutions.
This morning, representing their respective fans, the following were present: Riccardo Santoro, Massimo Falci, Carlo Balbiani, Roberto Buonfrisco, Sonia Lotoro, Francesco Saggese, Rocco Olivieri and Raffaele Colonnese for the CCSC, Francesco Lotito (Roma), Giuseppe Munafò (Milan), Luigi Riccardi e Saverio Passaretti (Napoli), Dario Infantino (Udinese), Federico Pesavento (Vicenza), Pierantonio Pasini (Treviso), Lorenzo Minotti (Frosinone); spoke remotely Many Gasperoni (Cesena)Filippo Pucci e Silvano Fradoni (Fiorentina), Maurizio Primiere (Perugia) e Liliana Baldini (Pisa). Considering that in Serie A clubs like Inter and Juventus do not have associations or coordination centers, one can easily understand the weight that Federtifosi could have at a national level.
The newborn “union” of Italian fans promises to carry out many battles.
«Thanks to the friends of Salerno for wanting to celebrate the first assembly here. The moment for Italian football is very critical – began Francesco Lotito of Roma Clubs – and several Italian curves are experiencing a phase of enormous difficulty. At the end of the discussion on the statute – coordinated by Giuseppe Munafò – we moved on to the election of the governing bodies. Francesco Lotito was elected president of Federtifosi, while the two deputies will be Giuseppe Munafò and Riccardo Santoro. Pierantonio Pasini was appointed Secretary. Finally, the board of directors will be made up – in addition to the people listed above – of Lorenzo Minotti, Dario Infantino and Saverio Passaretti.
«This is a date to remember for the Italian fan movement – commented the new national vice-president of Federtifosi Riccardo Santoro – we have the task of preserving the authentic values of sport and the passion for our football team, we have the burden of transmitting to our children the love for the club colors and that sense of belonging which cannot in any way be mortified by television rights, public order measures or other interests.
