The Compagnie de Poche opened the Papillonades festivities this Saturday afternoon in Saint-André-des-Eaux with “Les Noces de Figaro”, an astonishing object theater show. Then the Sandoba, a local batucada, wandered around with mad energy and a frenzied rhythm. Then it’s time for the Compagnie du Long Raccourci show, “Don’t Worry”, which takes a positive and sometimes absurd look at the misadventure of a knee! Juggling and balancing mingling with poetry. A real circus show that delighted all the festival-goers.
In the early evening, concerts should delight the older ones. On the bill: Cold sweat, pure Breton punk; Rawb, a reggae band; Balto Parranda and his balkano punk; King Kong Blues, rock’n’roll; Betablock, “crazy rock”, and finally an electro set by Seb 7.
The festival is back in action this Sunday
New appointments await the public this Sunday, June 12, from 3 p.m. Opening, the Théâtre de Pan promises 45 minutes of quirky humour, plus a burlesque fight between two guards, champions of France in artistic fencing. A new wandering of the Sandoba will follow. You should also expect to come across the “Buggle Noz”, a funny, touching and eccentric creature that pops up from anywhere. Fervent defenders of human ties, the Binette Sisters of the company Le Syndrome à rocker will offer laughs, rolls and poetry to the breaking point. Like a breath in the storm, the collective Kaboum will whisper the intimate, the time of a siesta. At 6:30 p.m., closing concerts by Miximetry (English rock in French) and Monty Picon (rock).
All profits from these two days will be donated to the associations Ose ta vie Bretagne famille solidaire and Demain, j’ai 20 ans.
