In Russia, the actress of a satirical series is sentenced to three months in a colony

A court in Ussuriysk, Russia’s Far East, told Maris Krivonosva, an actress in a satirical web series about the life of a fictional official, Vitaly Nalivkin, Marin Vulf, an official of the Interior Ministry, sentenced him to three months in a general regime colony, the media reported.

The actress, who had previously been tried, was found guilty by the court on charges of evading administrative supervision.

In September 2021, the court arrested Krivonosva for ten days.

It was initially reported that she had been sentenced for illegally wearing the uniform of a police officer, but it was later clarified that she had been sentenced for evading administrative supervision.

The satirical series about Nalivkin can be watched on the YouTube channel “BARAKuda”.

In the series, Nalivkin is fighting forest fires, the smell of sewers, coronavirus, as well as participating in the exposing of a corrupt Colonel in the Interior Ministry.

After the release of the last episode, Nalivkin’s actor Andrei Neretin was arrested for five days for petty hooliganism.

On September 21, he was detained for two days.

The court accused him of disrespecting society because he allegedly cursed in a public place.

The actor was fined 500 rubles (six euros).
