The ministry provides for the possibility of receiving financial support from the federal budget for free sperm storage for citizens mobilized to participate in the war in Ukraine from 2022 to 2024, Trunov said.
Families will also be able to use the stored material free of charge if provided for by compulsory medical insurance.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine say that since the beginning of the invasion Russia has lost already more than 100,000 soldiers of the occupation forces.
To provide reinforcements for the war in Ukraine, Russia announced a partial mobilization in September, recalling more than 300,000 troops.
Wanting to avoid mobilization, hundreds of thousands of men left Russia.
