In Rouen, they voted simultaneously for DPS-NN and APS – 2024-10-28 07:05:00

Election day in Burgas region ended with a 5% higher voter turnout. Just over 37% went to the polls to exercise their right to vote.

The first in terms of votes is the municipality of Tsarevo with nearly 50% of voters. Next came the municipalities of Rouen and Sungurlare, where the main battle was between the two wings of the former DPS.

“The first political force in our multi-mandate constituency is GERB-SDS, followed by “Vazrazhdane”, DPS-New Beginning, Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (APS), PP-DB and BSP-United Left,” explained Fani Semerdzhieva.

She also explained that in the Burgas region the 4 percent barrier is also crossed by the Velichie and MECH parties.

As of 7 a.m. there are still protocols there to approve.

“At the moment, two protocols are being approved and there is one more – a third one, which will be delayed a bit, because the last page of the protocol was forgotten on the printer in the election section in the municipality of Malko Tarnovo”, explained Fani Semerdzhieva.

She also pointed out that in these elections there were about 1% invalid ballots – about 990. The problem comes from the municipality of Rouen, where people voted simultaneously for DPS-New Beginning and APS in one ballot.

“People wanted to vote for both political entities, which, however, makes the ballot invalid,” said Fani Semerdzhieva.
