“We discussed the security situation in the Black Sea, which is deteriorating due to the increase in Russia’s military presence. I emphasized the importance of consolidating the role of NATO in the Black Sea region, ”- quotes his Ukrinform.
Orban also noted the intention of the parties to continue joint work to strengthen the presence of NATO ground and naval forces on the “eastern flank”.
In late October, NATO announced increased presence in the Black Sea region.
