“Peculiarity” is a unique public installation and musical message that invites you to see and hear yourself. The multimedia multimedia installation will consist of mirror objects, the musical design of which uses compositions created by Latvian composers Santas Ratniece and Ēriks Ešenvalds.
Depending on the location and travel path, you will be able to hear individual instruments and voices in different combinations.
The edges of the objects will reflect the footage of Latvian nuggets sung by director Roberts Rubins, which conductor Sigvards Kļava has met on his research journey for several years – among them are children with the voices of angels, as well as wise people from different places.
“This is a project that once again allowed us to gain a strong affirmation of our land and people – beautiful, talented, full of strength. The meeting was like a miraculous and creative well for each of us. In fact – a road and a bridge to each other, between the ancient, the present and the future, between the traditional and the professional. Personally for me – a very beautiful and powerful stage of creative life, ”says Sigvards Kļava, the author and conductor of the project idea.
It will be possible to visit the art object “Savpatība” in Rēzekne “Gora” outdoors (from July 16 to 24), in Limbaži – Limbaži castle ruins (from July 25 to August 1), in Rīga – Arkadia Park (from August 26 to 31) ).
