In response to Jokowi’s white-haired leader, PKS is proud of Anies’ resume

PKS responds to statement by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) the question of a leader who thinks people have a lot of wrinkles and gray hair. PKS extension calling a good leader is judged by track record, not physical appearance.

“To see whether a leader is good or not is not from his physical appearance but from his track record. We will see from his policies. We will see from his political stance,” PKS spokesman Muhammad Kholid said when contacted on Sunday (27/ 11 /2022).

Kholid stressed that physical appearance has nothing to do with ability to lead the nation. According to him, the differences in models from hair color are the characteristics of each person.

“Physical appearance has nothing to do with his ability to lead the nation. Black, white, brown, curly, straight, curly hair, that’s everyone’s specialty,” she said.

Furthermore, Kholid said that leaders can be judged by their integrity, commitment to root out corruption, take the side of the people, look after the people’s interests, implement fair policies, and leave welfare to the people. He thinks Jokowi has a different view of leaders.

“Yes, in my opinion Pak Jokowi has a special vision, so hair color is important,” she added.

Hence, Kholid is not even concerned about Jokowi’s wrinkled white hair code which does not describe the presidential candidate PKS intends to support. Anies Baswedan. Instead, he revealed that Anies Baswedan had a good track record while leading Jakarta.

“Pak Anies has a leadership track record, you can check it in Jakarta. Jakarta audience satisfaction is high and many achievements have been achieved,” he said.

“That’s not the point (whether Jokowi’s code matters or not). This actually lowers his authority from the level of national and state leaders to just being a candidate advocate,” he continued.

Leader of white hair and wrinkles
