During the last seven days, an average of 7 patients per day were hospitalized (8 weeks before), so that an average of 84 (previously 127) patients are treated with Covid-19 in hospitals on a daily basis.

The decrease in morbidity continues in all age groups, a more pronounced tendency of morbidity is observed in the age group 10-19.

The average cumulative morbidity rate in European countries is 51.6 (previously 39), while in Latvia there is a noticeable decrease – 43 per 100,000 population.

The proportion of imported Covid-19 cases in Latvia already reaches 14.2%, last week they were a total of 38 (24 weeks ago) Covid-19 infected.

The number of imports from third countries is increasing, accounting for 71% of all imports in the last two weeks.

Covid-19 cases imported from week 22-27: Russia 46, Turkey 16, Great Britain 12, Spain 12, Germany 8, France 4, Ukraine 4.
