The Board of Directors of the National Grain Growers Association (NOT) held a meeting at which all regional structures made a unanimous decision to insist on an immediate meeting with the Minister of Finance Lyudmila Petkova on the occasion of the commitment made for the payment of the so-called “Ukrainian aid”.
NAZ appeals for the state to specify the terms and the method of distribution of the funds that farmers urgently need.
At the moment, NAZ remains in protest readiness and continues active communication with its structures in places to take the necessary actions to protect the interests of farmers, the announcement states.
NAZ also expects responsibility and actions to ensure stability and sustainability in the agricultural sector, laid down in the proposals for legislative changes, which are listed in the Agreement dated 02.12.2024.
